Holy Hell. PAX Aus was absolutely amazing. Somehow, the four of us attended the most amazing gaming convention in Australia, and survived. We have heaps of contact on the site from PAX, with more to follow, so keep us in your favourites list! Now, November is upon us. We have already had such an amazing year of games, and November is keeping up that trend. PAX Aus 2017 – The Journey – The Final Day

We started late again today, with the doors not opening until 10am. Chef Joey jumped back into the kitchen, but then bailed out and made me cook my own breakfast of bacon and eggs. Not really, I offered because he was eating. See, I can be a nice guy sometimes too! Mat, Joey and I then started the walk back to PAX Aus and got to talking about how much we have all enjoyed this weekend. Once we were through the doors, Mat and I made a beeline for the Another Indie stand in the PAX Rising area. I...

PAX Aus – The Journey – Day 2

So Day 2 of Pax was another massive day for me, that again I somehow survived. Barely. I swear, my feet are just about to go on strike. Again, we started the day with another breakfast cooked by Joey. Seriously, one of the best things about this trip so far is having our own personal chef. I can’t wait until he starts doing requests. PAX Aus 2017 – The Journey – Day 1

Today was my first full day of PAX Aus 2017, and it was a huge day. Somehow, I survived. We started the day to a cooked meal of Bacon and Eggs, taken care of by the wonderful Joey, while Mat complained about some kind of heavy construction work that kept him awake for most of the night. Honestly, I think he might have been telling a fib – I certainly didn’t hear anything. At around 8am, after the three of us had eaten and gotten dressed up into our brand new Ultra Super Mega shirts, we wandered down to...

PAX Aus 2017 – The Journey – Day 0

So, the day finally arrived. On Thursday, the 26th of October at 4:30am, I woke my amazing wife to give me a lift to the airport so that I could finally attend PAX. And what an amazing first day I have had. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. As many people have told me over the years, it’s not the destination that counts, but the road you take to get there. So let’s start at the beginning of my day. As I mentioned earlier, I woke my gorgeous wife Emma and asked her very nicely to take me...
