Just hours ahead of Square Enix’s official Final Fantasy announcement, it seems the biggest news has already been leaked by Gamespot. The release date of Final Fantasy XV.
The video was only up for a few minutes before being taken down in what I can only assume was one of those rare pants shitting moments.
However the news has also been revealed by Gematsu, who posted a story this morning stating that not only would the game be releaseing September 30 but a brand new demo featuring Noctis, would be dropping today.
A new demo, which first leaked this morning, will be available today, where you control a younger Noctis as he journeys through a dreamscape. According to Square Enix, the demo is meant to show off the game’s final visuals and combat system. If you finish it, you’ll get an exclusive Carbuncle summon for use in Final Fantasy XV. It’s actually the only way to unlock Carbuncle in the full game.
Gematsu also posted a mirror to the original Gamespot video that was previously removed. (cheeky buggers)
